titleIf we have more than one Learn Amp account, and use the Account Switcher feature, will this work with our Custom Domain?

Since May 2024, we have expanded the Account Switcher functionality to support customers using a custom domain with multiple subdomains.

The switcher can be used when subdomains are used for multiple Learn Amp accounts.

What does this mean in practice?

  • ✔️ Works for:

    • Custom Domain: example.com

    • Subdomains: company1.example.com, company2.example.com

  • Doesn't Work for:

    • Custom Domains: company1.com, company2.com

Unfortunately, the account switcher relies on both accounts being served from the same top-level Domain (i.e. http://learnamp.com ).

So you won't be able to switch between learnamp.com Subdomain, and your Custom Domain. This is a constraint of how browsers and cookies work. However, as mentioned above, you can still access your account via your learnamp.com Subdomain. So, we recommend administrators who need to switch between accounts, do so on learnamp.com but directing your users to only access the account via the Custom Domain.
