New Task (Learner)

  • To user assigned the task.

  • For confirmed users, it’s sent immediately when the task is issued.

  • For un-confirmed users, it’s sent out immediately once they ‘confirm’ (i.e. sign in for first time).

  • Unless ‘skip new joiner task notifications’ is enabled in the back end (which it is - to prevent backlog of task emails pinging out from what we imported, but this can be turned back on, just let me know).

  • This new task notification can also be disabled, by selecting ‘skip new task email’ on individual tasks you create.

 

New Task Deadline (Learner)

  • To user assigned the task.

  • Sent immediately when a deadline is changed.

 

Task Reminder (Learner)

  • To user assigned the task.

  • 7 days before deadline.

  • And, 1 day before deadline.

 

Task Overdue (Learner)

  • To user assigned the task.

  • Sent 1 day after ‘complete by date’

 

Task Overdue (Other, e.g. Manager)

  • To users you select in the task settings.

  • Sent 1 day after ‘complete by date’

  • Only issued if select this option when creating a task.

 

Task Completed (Other, e.g. Manager)

  • To users you select in the task settings.

  • Sent immediately when the task is completed.

  • Only issued if select this option when creating a task.

 

You can also use Escalation Policies to send more notifications to managers, e.g.

  • A task is due within X days (customisable)

  • A learner is overdue X number of times (customisable)
