Create and Manage Reusable Question Sets for Dynamic Quizzes
The Quiz Question Bank feature allows you to centrally create, organize, and manage a collection of questions for your quizzes.
This streamlines quiz creation and ensures a fresh challenge for learners by enabling question randomization.
Permissions: Admin and Owner roles are allowed to create, edit and centrally manage Question Banks. |
Centralized Management: Build a repository of questions accessible for all quizzes.
Improved Efficiency: Create quizzes faster by reusing existing questions.
Dynamic Assessments: Randomized questions create a unique experience for each quiz attempt.
Access Company Settings: Navigate to "Company Settings" from the main menu.
Select Assessments -> Quiz Question Bank: Within Company Settings, locate and click on the "Assessments" section, then on the "Quiz Question Bank" section.
Add a Question Bank: Click the button labelled "Add Question Bank" to initiate the creation process.
Build Your Question Bank: Follow the on-screen prompts to add new questions, organize them within the bank, and preview your work.
Review and Save: Once you've completed adding and organizing questions, review the details in the preview. If satisfied, finalize the creation process to save your new Question Bank.
Upon successful creation, your new Question Bank will appear at the top of the assessments table. This overview provides key details such as:
Title: The name you assigned to the Question Bank.
N. of Questions: The total number of questions included in the bank.
Created At: The date the Question Bank was created.
Updated At: The date the Question Bank was last modified.
This information allows you to easily identify and manage your question banks.
Locate the Question Bank: Navigate to "Company Settings" > "Assessments". Find the question bank you want to edit within the table view.
Add Questions: Click the "Add Questions" button to add new questions specifically to this bank.
Full Edit: Click the three dots (...) menu and select "Edit Question Bank" to revisit the entire creation flow and make comprehensive changes.
Initiate Quiz Creation: Click the "+" sign on the navigation bar and navigate to "Assessment" > "Quiz".
Quiz Details: Provide the details for your new quiz, including Name, Description, Tags, etc., following the standard quiz creation process.
Select Quiz Source: Once you reach the "Next" step, you'll encounter the "Quiz source" option. Choose "Add from Question Bank" to proceed.
Choose a Question Bank: On the next screen, select the desired question bank from the dropdown menu. You'll also see the total number of questions included in that bank.
Randomized Questions: Determine the number of questions to be randomly assigned for each quiz attempt. Ensure this number is equal to or less than the total questions in the chosen bank.
Adding from Multiple Banks (Optional): To incorporate questions from various banks, click "Add Question Bank" and repeat steps 4 and 5 for each additional bank.
Finalize and Save: Click "Next" to continue setting up your quiz and finalize the creation process by saving it.
By following these steps, you can effectively leverage the Quiz Question Bank to streamline quiz creation and deliver dynamic assessments to your learners.
