Notifying Users About New Channel Content

Notifying Users About New Channel Content

Overview

Learn Amp does not send automatic notifications when new content is added to a Channel. However, there are effective alternatives to ensure users stay informed about updates.

This guide covers two approaches: using Featured Widgets to highlight content on Dashboards, and enabling Dynamic Channels to show "Updated" labels.

Functionality Breakdown

Featured Widgets

Featured Widgets highlight Channels or specific content directly on users' Dashboards. When new content is added to a featured Channel, it becomes immediately visible to users when they access their Dashboard.

Benefits:

  • High visibility on the main Dashboard

  • Immediate exposure for new content

  • Customisable placement and styling

Dynamic Channels

Dynamic Channels automatically display an "Updated" label when new content is added. This visual indicator encourages users to revisit Channels they've previously viewed.

Benefits:

  • Passive notification without email overload

  • Encourages regular engagement with Channels

  • Works automatically once configured
