Daily Overdue Task Reminders help users stay on top of their responsibilities by prompting them each day until overdue tasks are completed, expired, or deleted. This feature reduces the risk of tasks being forgotten and supports better task compliance across your organisation.

What does this feature do?
When enabled, it automatically sends:

  • Daily in-app and email reminders for each overdue task

  • Notifications continue until the task is completed, expires, or is deleted

Default status:
Disabled for all organisations by default.

🛠 How to Enable Daily Task Reminders

To activate daily overdue reminders:

  1. Navigate to Company Settings

  2. Scroll to the Tasks section

  3. Tick the box labelled Send daily overdue task reminders

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Will daily reminders apply to tasks already overdue when I enable the setting?
Yes. Any tasks that are currently overdue will start receiving daily reminders once the feature is turned on.

Q: Do reminders stop automatically?
Yes. Once a task is completed, deleted, or reaches its expiry date, reminders will stop.

Q: Do daily reminders include weekends?
A: Yes, reminders are sent every day, including weekends.

Q: What happens if someone has multiple overdue tasks? How many reminders will they receive? A: Each overdue task generates its own reminder email. This means that if someone has several overdue tasks, they will receive one email per task.

Q: What happens if someone is marked as “Taking a break”?
A: Notifications will be paused for the user.
