Team Dashboards

Team Dashboards

Overview

Team Dashboards allow you to create targeted experiences for specific teams within your organisation. Instead of showing the same Dashboard to everyone with a particular role, you can customise what different teams see based on their unique needs, projects, or departments.

Team Dashboards sit in the middle of the priority hierarchy—above Role-Based Dashboards but below Onboarding and Manager Dashboards.

FAQs

Q: What happens if a user is in multiple teams?
Primary team Dashboards take precedence. If the user has no primary team Dashboard, secondary team Dashboards are shown.

Q: If I have a team Dashboard for eg. Sales, and Sales is a user’s secondary team, will they see the Dashboard?
Yes, the Dahsboard will be visible to the user (from the dropdown) but it will not be set as their default homepage. Only users with Sales listed as their primary team will see it as their Homepage Dashboard.

Q: Can I assign one Dashboard to multiple teams?
Yes. Create a Dashboard with Team audience type and select multiple teams in the configuration.

Q: How do Team Dashboards interact with Role-Based Dashboards?
Team Dashboards have higher priority. Users see their Team Dashboard first, but can still access visible Role-Based Dashboards.

Q: What if I remove a user from a team?
They'll no longer see that Team Dashboard. They'll see the next Dashboard in the priority hierarchy.

Q: Can team managers create Team Dashboards?
No. Only Owners and Admins can create Team Dashboards. Managers can create personal Manager Dashboards instead.
