  • Provide feedback – Comment on progress and achievements

Tasks

  • Monitor completion – Track task progress

1-to-1s

  • Create 1-to-1s – Schedule coaching conversations

  • Document sessions – Record notes and action items

Reporting

  • View activity – Access learning and engagement reports for coached users

  • Assessment results – See quiz scores and exercise submissions

  • Saved reports – View relevant reports scoped to their coachees

Each coach has equal permissions for that user.

FAQs

Q: Does becoming a Coach change my core role?
No. Coach is an additional permission layer. A Learner who becomes a Coach still has Learner-level platform access, plus coaching capabilities for their assigned individuals.

Q: How many people can I coach?
There's no system limit, but consider your capacity. Coaching is most effective with manageable numbers—typically 1-10 individuals depending on intensity.

Q: Can I coach someone from a different team?
Yes. Coach relationships are independent of team structure. You can coach anyone in the organisation regardless of which team they're in.

Q: Do I see my coachees in team reports?
Coaches have separate reporting scopes. You'll see coached users in your coaching reports, separate from any team management reports (if you're also a Team Manager).

Q: What's the difference between a Coach and a Mentor?
In Learn Amp, "Coach" is the official term for this relationship. If your organisation uses "Mentor" terminology, the Coach feature serves this purpose.
