Content Review Dates
Overview
Content Review Dates help you maintain content quality by setting reminders to review and update Items periodically. When a review date is set, designated users receive notifications prompting them to check the content is still accurate, relevant, and up to date.
This feature is essential for content governance—ensuring compliance materials stay current, policies reflect the latest regulations, and learning content remains valuable over time.

How Review Dates Work
When you set a review date on an Item:

Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
Review date option not appearing | Check that review features are enabled for your organisation. Verify you have edit permissions for the Item. |
Not receiving review notifications | Ensure "Prompt Review" is enabled on the Item. Check your notification settings allow review reminders. |
Can't find Items due for review | Use admin filters to search by review date. Contact your Admin if review reporting isn't available. |
Review date won't save | Ensure you've selected a valid future date. Check you have permission to edit the Item. |

Best Practices
💡 Tip: Set review dates based on content volatility. Compliance content may need quarterly reviews, while general resources might only need annual checks.
💡 Tip: Create a content review calendar to coordinate reviews across your team and avoid last-minute rushes.
⚠️ Warning: Don't ignore review notifications. Outdated content can lead to compliance issues or learner confusion.
