Content Surveys in Learnlists and Channels
Overview
Content Surveys are a special type of Survey that can be embedded directly into Learnlists or Channels. Unlike Regular Surveys that are issued individually, Content Surveys are automatically available to users who have access to the associated Learnlist or Channel. This makes them ideal for gathering feedback on specific learning content or creating integrated learning experiences.
Functionality Breakdown
How Content Surveys Work
Content Surveys differ from Regular Surveys in several key ways:
Automatic Assignment: Users don't receive individual "Survey issued" emails. Instead, the Survey becomes available when they access the Learnlist or Channel
Access-Based: Only users assigned to the Learnlist or Channel can see and complete the Survey
Integrated Experience: Surveys appear as part of the learning content flow, not as separate tasks
No Individual Issuing: Content Surveys don't use the standard issuing process with deadlines and recipients
Retakeable: Users can retake Content Surveys to submit updated responses
Survey Type: Learning
Content Surveys use the Learning survey type. When creating a Survey, you select "Content" as the Survey type, which automatically sets it up for embedding in Learnlists or Channels.
Assignment Methods
Content Surveys can be assigned via:
Learnlists: Added as an entry within a Learnlist
Carousels: Added as a tile in a Channel (Carousel)
