Exporting Exercise Submissions
Overview
Exporting Exercise Submissions allows you to download a comprehensive CSV file containing all submission data for an exercise. This is useful for offline analysis, reporting, or record-keeping purposes.
The export includes detailed information about each submission, including who submitted it, when it was submitted, scores, attachments, and any comments or notes.
Functionality Breakdown
When you export exercise submissions:
A CSV file is generated containing all submissions for the selected exercise
The export includes submission metadata (user, date, attempt number)
File attachments and recordings are indicated (yes/no)
Scores and pass/fail status are included (if the exercise is scored)
Notes and comments from reviewers are included
Multiple notes per submission are supported (shown as separate columns)
The export is sorted by user's last name and submission date
The export service processes submissions asynchronously, so you'll receive a notification when your export is ready to download.

FAQs
Q: How long does it take to generate an export?
A: Export generation time depends on the number of submissions. Small exercises (under 100 submissions) typically process in seconds, while larger exercises may take a few minutes.
Q: Can I filter what gets exported?
A: Currently, the export includes all submissions you have permission to view. Filtering options may be available in future updates.
Q: What format is the export file?
A: The export is a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file that can be opened in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet application.
