Key Configuration Areas
Notifications
Control when and how users receive task-related communications:
New task emails – Sent when tasks are assigned (including open-ended tasks)
Deadline reminders – Alerts before and after due dates (deadline-based tasks only)
Completion notifications – Alerts when tasks are completed
Daily overdue reminders – Recurring emails for overdue tasks (deadline-based tasks only)
💡 Tip: Open-ended tasks (tasks with no deadline) still trigger new task notifications, but do not generate deadline reminders, overdue notifications, or daily overdue reminders—since they have no due date.
Integrations
Extend task notifications beyond email:
Slack – Direct messages and team channel notifications
Microsoft Teams – Team channel notifications
Escalation
Automate accountability with escalation policies:
Overdue monitoring – System tracks tasks past their deadline
Manager alerts – Automatic notifications to line managers
Threshold settings – Configure how many days overdue before escalation
⚠️ Note: Escalation policies only apply to tasks with deadlines. Open-ended tasks are excluded from all escalation calculations.
