Zoom Recording to Video Item
Overview
Zoom Recording to Video Item transforms your live event recordings into reusable on-demand content. When auto-recording is enabled for Zoom sessions, Learn Amp can automatically download the cloud recording and convert it into a video item in your library.
This powerful feature means a single training session can benefit both live attendees and future learners who watch the recording at their convenience.

FAQs
How long does it take for the recording to be available?
Zoom typically processes recordings within 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on length and server load.
Is the recording automatically published?
No, you must manually convert the recording to a video item. This gives you the opportunity to review it first.
What happens to the original Zoom recording?
The recording remains in Zoom cloud storage until you delete it or it expires based on your Zoom settings.
Can I edit the recording before publishing?
Learn Amp converts the recording as-is. For editing, download from Zoom, edit externally, and upload the edited version as a video item.
What if I don't want to keep a recording?
Simply don't convert it. You can also delete it from Zoom cloud storage.
Do learners who attended live need to watch the recording?
No, they've already completed the event. The recording is for those who couldn't attend.
Can I record to local computer instead of cloud?
Local recording doesn't integrate with Learn Amp. You would need to manually upload the file as a video item.
What's the maximum recording length?
This depends on your Zoom plan's cloud storage limits, not Learn Amp.
