Notification Types

Reminder Notifications

Automated emails sent before the deadline:

  • 30 days before – Early warning

  • 7 days before – Mid-cycle reminder

  • 3 days before – Final reminder

Missed Deadline Notifications

Automatic email sent when a learner misses their CPD deadline without reaching 100% progress.

Submission Notifications

When self-submissions are enabled:

  • Admin notification – When a learner submits an activity

  • Approval notification – When a submission is approved

  • Rejection notification – When a submission is rejected

Configurable Reminders

Each CPD scheme can have up to 3 reminders, each with:

  • Days before deadline

  • Time of day to send

  • Sent in learner's time zone

Scheme-Level Control

Notifications can be disabled per scheme:

  • Stops all reminder emails

  • Prevents missed deadline notifications

  • Keeps configuration for future use


Pre-requisites

To configure notifications:

  • CPD must be enabled
