Completing and Tracking Opportunities

Completing and Tracking Opportunities

Overview

Once you've added opportunities to your profile, the next step is completing them and tracking your progress. Learn Amp provides a clear workflow for marking opportunities as complete, whether they're self-verified or require approval from a designated verifier.

This guide explains the completion process, the different status stages, and how to manage your opportunity progress.

Functionality Breakdown

The Opportunity Lifecycle

Every opportunity you add follows a clear progression:

  1. Added – You've saved the opportunity to your profile

  2. Pending Completion – You've marked it complete and it's awaiting verification (if applicable)

  3. Verified Completion – The completion has been confirmed

  1. Click Mark as Complete

  2. Your completion is immediately verified

  4. The verification request is cancelled

For Self-Verified Completions:

  2. Find the opportunity card

⚠️ Note: You can only remove opportunities that haven't been verified. Verified completions are permanent records of your development.

FAQs

Q: How long does verification take?
This depends on your verifiers. They receive an email notification immediately, but response times vary. If your completion has been pending for a while, consider reaching out to the verifier directly.

Q: Can I complete the same opportunity multiple times?
Each opportunity can only be completed once per learner. If you want to repeat a similar activity, look for other relevant opportunities or speak to your administrator about creating a new one.

Q: What if my verifier is unavailable?
Contact your administrator. They may be able to verify the completion on behalf of the designated verifier or reassign verification.

Q: Can I see who verified my completion?
The verifier information is recorded in the system. Contact your administrator if you need to know who approved your completion.

Q: Why can't I mark an opportunity as complete?
Ensure you've added the opportunity first. You can only complete opportunities that are in your "My Opportunities" list with "Added" status.

Q: Will I be notified when my completion is verified?
Currently, learners don't receive automatic notifications when completions are verified. Check your "My Opportunities" view to see updated statuses.
