Creating a Learnlist

Creating a Learnlist

Overview

Creating a Learnlist in Learn Amp lets you bundle multiple content items into a structured learning journey. Whether you're building an onboarding programme, compliance training, or a skills development path, Learnlists help guide learners through content in a logical sequence.

This article covers both methods for creating a Learnlist and walks through each step of the creation process.

Functionality Breakdown

When creating a Learnlist, you'll configure:

  • Basic details: Title, description, and learning objectives

  • Visual appearance: Tile image and colour scheme

  • Structure: How learners progress through content (ordered or locked)

  • Completion settings: Absolute or dynamic tracking, pass scores

  • Visibility: Who can see and access the Learnlist

  • Notifications: Who gets notified when learners complete it

Pre-requisites

Before creating a Learnlist:

  • Ensure you have the required role (Owner, Admin, Learning Designer, or Curator)

  • Plan what content you want to include

  • Decide on the structure (will learners need to complete items in order?)

Role Requirements

  • Owner – Full access within their company

  • Admin – Administrative access within their company

  • Learning Designer – Can create and manage learning content

  • Curator – Can curate and manage content

  • Choose how to display the Tile image:

    • Use the first 4 item tiles automatically, or

    • Upload a custom image

  • Select a Learnlist colour for the sidebar navigation
