Using Tags on Quizzes
Overview
Tags help you organise and surface content more effectively across Learn Amp. You can add Tags to Quizzes — making it easier to categorise and filter assessments.
Tagging quizzes enables Admins and Managers to align assessments with learning themes, topics, or campaigns. This improves discoverability and supports reporting based on skill areas or content types.

To locate Quizzes based on specific Tags:
In the sidebar navigation, go to Manage → Learning Content → Quizzes.
Click Filters and select Tag.
Choose the Tag(s) you want to filter by.
The list will update to show only Quizzes with the selected Tags.
Note: When filtering by tags, the system also includes related tags (synonyms) based on parent/child tag relationships, so you may see additional results.
FAQs & Troubleshooting
Can I create new Tags when tagging a Quiz?
Yes. Simply type a new tag name in the Tags field and press Enter or click outside the field. The tag will be created automatically if it doesn't already exist. Tag names are automatically converted to lowercase for consistency.
Why can't I see the Tags field?
Ensure you have permission to edit Quizzes and that you're using the standard Quiz creation or edit view.
Can learners see Tags on Quizzes?
Tags are primarily for internal organisation and filtering. They may not be visible to learners unless specifically surfaced via views or reports.
How do tag synonyms work when filtering?
When you filter by a tag, the system also includes related tags (synonyms) in the results. This means quizzes tagged with a synonym of your chosen tag will also appear. Tag synonyms are configured by your organisation's administrator.
