Using MS Teams Events and Activity Feeds
Learn all about the MS Teams integration.
This article will cover what you can do with the MS Teams integration in the Learn Amp Platform. Please note that you will need your integration to be enabled to enjoy these features.

There are two main things you can do with the MS Teams integration:
Set up online teams meetings as the location of an Event.
Receive notifications in your Microsoft Teams channels about new public content, Tasks assigned to teams, users completing Items and community engagement.
1. Set up online Teams meetings as the location of an Event:
When setting up an Event, on Step 4 - Session details you will have the option to choose the Location of your Event.
You will be able to select MS Teams - Online meeting as the location.
Please note that the Event host must have their MS Teams account linked with the Learn Amp Platform.
The Event will then appear as follows:
5 minutes before the Event is due to begin, users will see a Launch button, which they can press and that will then take them to the online meeting in MS Teams.
This will then take you straight into the MS Teams meeting:
2. Receive notifications in your Microsoft Teams Channels about what's happening on Learn Amp
You can sync up your MS Teams and Learn Amp account in order to receive notifications about what's happening on Learn Amp.
You can specify exactly what you'd like to receive notifications on by setting up an activity feed.
Steps to follow
Upload the custom Learn Amp app to Microsoft Teams
Ask your IT team to ensure that a Teams/Azure Administrator who also has Learn Amp Admin access completes the following steps:
In Learn Amp, go to
Settings → Integrations → Microsoft Teams → How to use tabScroll to Install Learn Amp App in Microsoft Teams and click
Download Teams App PackageIn Microsoft Teams, go to Apps → Manage your apps → Upload an app → Upload a customised app
Select the downloaded package and click “Add”.
Install the app in the correct Teams channel
You will be prompted to choose the channel where Activity feed notifications should be delivered.
Select the desired channel and click Go.
Re-authorise the integration (permissions)
Complete the permission-granting step:
Log in to Learn Amp
Go to Settings → Integrations → Microsoft Teams
Click Grant meeting permissions
Follow the on-screen prompts to review and accept the permissions.
Update your existing Activity feed in Learn Amp
As a Learn Amp Admin, you can now go to Settings → Integrations-> Microsoft Teams->Activity feed
Click on the pencil icon to add a new feed
In Microsoft Teams, open the target channel.
From the three dots (•••) menu next to the channel name, click Copy link.
Return to Learn Amp to complete the setup:
Click on the “Add new feed” button
Select the Learn Amp team whose activity should be sent to the MS Teams channel
Select the specific updates you want to receive in the MS Teams channel
Type the MS Teams channel name
Paste the MS Teams link into the Channel URL field
Click “Save”
