How do I change multiple translations within a Learnlist or Channel at once?

What does it mean to 'Change multiple translations within a Learnlist or Channel at once'?

Using this feature means that you'll be able to translate the content of a Learnlist or Channel into your chosen language, all in one go. All the places where there are English text in a Learnlist, you'll be able to change this into a different language. E.g. Item titles, descriptions, etc.

How do I do this?

If you have a Learnlist or Channel, you will see that there is an option to 'Export translations CSV'.

This article will explain what this means and how this function works.

Please note that the process is the exact same for a Learnlist and a Channel. In this article, a Learnlist will be taken as the example.

This function is particularly useful for any users who have their default content in one language (for example, French) but would like their content to be in another language (for example, German).

What happens when you Export translations CSV?

If you select 'Export translations CSV', you will be able to download a CSV file containing the full text content of the Learnlist or Channel.
It will appear just as in the image below.

How can I use this?

1. The first step is to look in row 1 and find the language that you would like to translate to.

2. Once you have found the language, fill in the translation in the appropriate columns - Name and Description.

3. Once you have completed this, please send this document on to Learn Amp Support (support@learnamp.com).

4. Learn Amp Support will then put the newly translated versions in the system.
