Special Cases

Secondary Managers

Secondary managers of teams cannot view 1-to-1s for their secondary teams. Only primary managers and those with admin-level roles can view team 1-to-1s.

HR Role

Users with the HR role have broad access to 1-to-1 data across the organisation, including:

  • Viewing all 1-to-1s

  • Managing templates and question sets

  • Accessing analytics and exports

Pre-requisites

Permissions are assigned through user roles. To change permissions:

  • User role assignments are managed in Settings → People

  • Company-wide visibility settings affect what certain roles can see

FAQs

Q: Can I give someone edit access to a specific template?
Currently, edit access is role-based. The creator and users with HR/Admin/Owner roles can edit.

Q: Why can't a manager see their team's 1-to-1s?
Check that manager relationships are correctly configured and visibility settings allow manager access.

Q: Can a user complete both reviewee and reviewer sections?
Only if they are both the assigned reviewee and reviewer (rare, but possible).
