1-to-1 Question Sets

Overview

1-to-1 Question Sets are reusable collections of questions that form the core of your 1-to-1 conversations. They allow you to standardise the questions asked across your organisation while maintaining flexibility to create different sets for different purposes.

Question sets are templates containing standard questions used in 1-to-1s. Each set can contain multiple questions with different answer formats.

Each question can be configured with:

• Required – Must be answered before completing

• Visible to – Who can see responses (reviewee, reviewer, both)

• Carry forward – Include previous answer in next cycle

Quick Start Guide

Creating a Question Set

1. Navigate to My Development → 1-to-1s in the sidebar

2. Click the Question Sets tab

3. Click New Question Set

4. Enter a name for the set

5. Add questions using the Add Question button

6. Configure each question's type and settings

7. Click Save

Adding Questions

1. Click Add Question

2. Enter the question text

3. Select the question type

4. Configure visibility and other settings

5. Repeat for additional questions

6. Drag to reorder if needed

Pre-requisites

To create question sets, you need one of the following roles:

• Manager (any role)

• HR

• Admin

• Owner

FAQs

Q: Can I edit a question set after it's been used?
Yes—but changes only affect future 1-to-1s. Already-issued 1-to-1s keep the original questions.

Q: Can one question set be used in multiple templates?
Yes—question sets are reusable across as many templates as you need.

Q: What happens if I delete a question from a set?
The question is removed from the set but historical responses remain in completed 1-to-1s.
