Widgets

Widgets

Overview

Widgets are the building blocks of Dashboards in Learn Amp. Each widget displays specific content or data, allowing you to create tailored experiences for different user roles. From activity-driving features like search bars and to-do lists, to reflective reports showing engagement metrics—widgets give you complete control over what users see.

Widgets are organised by package (Learn, Connect, Perform) and additional categories (Skills, Engagement Data), so the widgets available to you depend on your organisation's subscription and enabled features.

FAQs

Q: Why can't I see certain widgets?
Widget availability depends on your organisation's package and enabled features. Learn widgets come with Learn, Connect widgets require Connect, Perform widgets require Perform, and Skills widgets require the Skills feature.

Q: How often do widgets update?
For in-app widgets: Real time with no latency. For BI tool widgets: Once daily.

Q: I'm missing some widget options from the widget selection. What can I do?
This is usually due to your package or feature settings. Contact success@learnamp.com to confirm your package and available widgets.

Q: Can Managers add widgets to their Dashboard?
Yes, if Manager Dashboards are enabled. Managers can customise their own Dashboard with widgets relevant to their team.

Q: Can I resize widgets to fit my Dashboard layout?
Some widgets can be resized while others have fixed dimensions. See Widget Sizing and Grid Layout for details on which widgets can be resized and their size constraints.

Q: How do I filter widget data to show specific teams or users?
Many widgets support filtering by All users, Selected users, or Excluded users. You can filter by individuals, teams, or advanced groupings. See Widget Filters and Data Scoping for detailed instructions.

Q: Can I upload different images for mobile and desktop?
Yes! Featured Image, Banner, and External Link widgets support responsive images for different screen sizes. See Responsive Widget Images for how to set this up.
