Volt Web Search (Open Beta)
Volt Web Search (Open Beta) allows Volt to search the internet for up-to-date information to support content creation and answer questions. It's available to Admins and Owners with Volt enabled.
Overview
When creating or updating learning content, drawing on current web information can make a real difference. Volt Web Search makes this possible by allowing Volt to retrieve relevant, up-to-date results from the internet as part of a conversation.
You can also configure trusted domains to restrict web search to specific sources — useful if you want Volt to draw only from approved or authoritative websites.
This feature is currently in Open Beta. You can enable it from Company Settings → AI Features.

Configuring Trusted Domains
If you'd like Volt to only retrieve information from specific, approved websites, you can add trusted domains in the AI Features settings.
From the sidebar, select Settings, then AI Features
Find the Web Search section
Add the domain names you'd like Volt to search (for example,
gov.ukoryourcompany.com)Save your changes
💡 Trusted domains are useful if your organisation has specific content sources it considers authoritative, or if you need to ensure Volt doesn't draw from unverified sources.
⚠️ If trusted domains are configured but the relevant information isn't available on those domains, search quality may drop. If that happens, review your trusted domains list — you may need to broaden it.
