Easygenerator Integration

Easygenerator Integration

Overview

Easygenerator is an e-learning authoring tool that lets your content creators build interactive, SCORM-based courses using a simple drag-and-drop interface — no specialist technical knowledge required. The Easygenerator integration with Learn Amp connects the two platforms end-to-end, so courses your team authors in Easygenerator flow directly into your Learn Amp library without any manual uploading or file management.

This integration is available to organisations with an active Easygenerator licence. To confirm whether your organisation is licensed, contact your Learn Amp account team.

The integration covers three connected capabilities. First, your Easygenerator authors sign into Easygenerator using their existing Learn Amp credentials — no separate password to manage. Second, when an author publishes a finished course in Easygenerator, it is automatically delivered into Learn Amp as a ready-to-curate item. And third, Owners and Admins manage who in their organisation has authoring access from inside Learn Amp — no separate admin console to learn. Together, these capabilities turn Easygenerator into a natural extension of your content workflow — fewer tools to juggle, more time to create.

This integration is ideal for organisations that want to build bespoke learning content in-house — pairing Easygenerator's authoring flexibility with Learn Amp's curation, assignment, and reporting tools.

Functionality Breakdown

The integration brings together three distinct but complementary capabilities.

Sign In with Learn Amp (Single Sign-On)

Learn Amp acts as the identity provider for Easygenerator. When an author navigates to Easygenerator, they are redirected to a secure authorisation screen hosted by Learn Amp. They confirm which account they are using, grant access, and are returned to Easygenerator — authenticated and ready to work.

  • Authors use their existing Learn Amp credentials; no separate Easygenerator username or password is needed

  • A one-time consent screen is shown on first sign-in, listing the permissions being granted (name, email address, and profile)

  • Once a user has authorised, subsequent sign-ins are seamless

  • Only users who have an active Learn Amp account can sign into Easygenerator via this route — access is tied directly to your Learn Amp user base

Automatic Course Import

When an author publishes a course in Easygenerator, the platform automatically pushes the SCORM package directly to Learn Amp. No downloading, zipping, or manual uploading is needed. The process happens in the background:

  1. The author clicks Publish in Easygenerator

  2. Easygenerator packages the course as SCORM and delivers it directly to Learn Amp

  3. Learn Amp processes the package and creates a new content item — you don't need to do anything

  4. The item is created as hidden by default, so it is not visible to learners until a curator reviews and publishes it

  5. Eligible team members receive an in-app notification letting them know the course is ready to review

Seat Management

Owners and Admins manage which users in their organisation are licensed to author courses in Easygenerator. This is handled through a dedicated seat-management view within Learn Amp's settings — there is no separate Easygenerator admin console to worry about.

  • Assign seats to active Learn Amp users so they can author in Easygenerator

  • Revoke seats when someone leaves, changes role, or no longer needs access

  • Track how many seats are assigned against your contracted allowance

  • When a user's seat is revoked, their authored courses remain live for learners — the author simply loses the ability to create or edit new courses

The Easygenerator Entry Point in Learn Amp

Once the integration is active, an Easygenerator entry appears in the + Add new menu in the sidebar. Selecting it opens Easygenerator in a new tab, signed in via Learn Amp — making it easy for authors to move between the two platforms without disrupting their workflow.

In-App Notifications

When a course finishes importing, Learn Amp sends an in-app notification to eligible team members: "Your Easygenerator course is ready!" with a link directly to the new item. Notifications are sent to users with content management roles who have signed in to Easygenerator at least once — so the people most actively involved in the authoring workflow are the ones alerted.

Pre-requisites

To use the Easygenerator integration, you will need:

  • A signed Easygenerator licence agreement

  • An active Easygenerator account for your organisation

  • The integration enabled by your Learn Amp account team — Learn Amp and Easygenerator configure the integration between them (see Setting Up the Easygenerator Integration for details)

Quick Start Guide

Here is the end-to-end workflow once the integration is active:

  1. From the sidebar, go to Settings → Content → Easygenerator and assign seats to the users who need to author courses

  2. Authors select + Add new → Easygenerator from the sidebar to open Easygenerator in a new tab

  3. On first visit, the author clicks Authorise on the Learn Amp consent screen to complete sign-in

  4. The author creates their course in Easygenerator and clicks Publish when it is ready

  5. Learn Amp automatically imports the course as a hidden item — no manual upload needed

  6. Eligible team members receive an in-app notification: "Your Easygenerator course is ready!"

  7. A curator opens the item, reviews it, adds metadata (description, tags, thumbnail), and publishes it

  8. The course is now live and available to learners

FAQs

Q: How do we get the Easygenerator integration enabled?
Once your Easygenerator licence is in place, contact your Learn Amp account team. Learn Amp and Easygenerator will configure the integration between them — there is nothing to set up on your side.

Q: Do our authors need separate Easygenerator accounts?
Yes — your organisation needs an active Easygenerator subscription, and authors will have Easygenerator accounts. However, they sign into those accounts using their Learn Amp credentials, so there is no separate Easygenerator password to manage.

Q: Do learners need an Easygenerator account to take the courses?
No. Once a course has been imported into Learn Amp and published, learners access it entirely within Learn Amp. Easygenerator is only involved in the authoring process — learners never interact with it directly.

Q: Where do imported courses appear in Learn Amp?
Imported courses appear in your content library as standard e-learning items. They are created as hidden by default, so only users with content management permissions can see them until a curator publishes them.

Q: Can we update a course after it has been imported?
Yes. If an author revises and re-publishes a course in Easygenerator, the updated SCORM package is automatically delivered to Learn Amp and the item is updated. Metadata you have edited in Learn Amp (description, tags, thumbnail) is preserved — it will not be overwritten by the re-publish.

Q: Can we track who has completed Easygenerator courses?
Yes. Easygenerator courses are standard SCORM items in Learn Amp once published. All standard Learn Amp reporting applies — completions, time spent, progress, and pass/fail data are all tracked and visible in your reports dashboard.

Q: What if we want to remove the integration?
Contact your Learn Amp account team. They will decommission the integration on your behalf. Existing imported content will remain in your library and is not automatically deleted.

Issue

Solution

The Easygenerator entry is not visible in + Add new

The integration may not yet be enabled on your account. Contact your Learn Amp account team to confirm the integration is active.

Authors cannot sign into Easygenerator with their Learn Amp credentials

Confirm the integration has been fully provisioned and that the author has an active Learn Amp account and an assigned seat. If the problem persists, contact your Learn Amp account team.

A published course is not appearing in Learn Amp

Allow a few minutes for the import to complete. If the item still does not appear after 10 minutes, contact your Learn Amp account team.

In-app notifications are not being received

Notifications go to users with Owner, Admin, Learning Designer, or Curator roles who have signed in to Easygenerator at least once. Check the user's role and whether they have completed their first sign-in.

A published item is visible but learners cannot access it

The item is likely still set to hidden. A curator needs to publish it to make it visible to learners.

A learner cannot launch a course

Ensure the item has been published and that the learner has the appropriate visibility access. If the launch fails, contact Learn Amp Support.
