What is Skills framework and how do I configure it?

This article describes what is Skills framework and how to set it up within the Company Settings.

What is Skills framework?

• Rating framework used in the system for Skills feature

• A place where you can update, add and remove rating options and criteria for Skills

• A place where you can map fields using the added labels

You can access Skills framework by going to Company Settings>Skills>Update Framework

How do I configure Skills framework?

You can update the Skills framework in the Company Settings>Skills>Update Framework. It will open a creator, where you can update existing descriptions, re-order, remove or add new options.

Step 1: Rating options

In this step, you can review existing labels and summaries. You can also:

• Add a new Label and a summary

• Edit, delete, or re-order existing labels

These will be visible for users as options when rating skills in Asses Tab>Skills>Skills>specific skill>3 dots>Update rating.

Step 2: Map fields

In this step, you can map existing records with newly added labels.

If you added a new label - you can move all previous groups of records to be shown under this new label.

Once you click Next, the records will be synchronized across the platform.
