What is the Slack integration?

As an SSO tool-

Carry out actions that you’d do on Learn Amp without ever leaving Slack, simply by entering commands.

  • Receive notifications in your Slack thread about upcoming tasks and deadlines, and their priority level.

  • Carry out searches on Learn Amp on certain topics, view the most highly rated items on this topic, and share them with a fellow colleague via Slack messaging.

How do I use the Slack integration?

  • To enable the integration: go to the admin panel > search for the company

  • Then for Integrations - Add integration

  • & for Single service sign-on providers - Add SSO

An SSO will need to be enabled in both the integrations and single service sign-on providers panels.

  • Once enabled, click on Add to Slack.

Slack will ask you to grant Learn Amp the following permissions:

Channels/Groups: Read - We use this to get a list of your groups and channels, so you can tell us if and where to post Learn Amp activity.
Chat: Write - We need this to post activity into your slack channels if you ask us to.
Learn Amp does not read any of your Conversations, files, or history on Slack.

Users must be Administrators for their company’s Slack team in order to add the integration.
