LinkedIn Learning Integration

Integration Summary
Our Integration with LinkedIn Learning let’s user access and complete engaging content from the LinkedIn Learning library from with Learn Amp.

Main Features

  • You can import content from LinkedIn Learning library into Learn Amp. Our platform will create a link, through which users will be able to access LinkedIn Learning’s content.

  • When learners complete content on the LinkedIn Learning system, this data will be fed back into the Learn Amp system. So, if they complete content on one platform, this will be reflected on the other and will be marked as complete on both systems.

Known Limitations/ Considerations

LinkedIn Courses: These are made up of a selection of video and e-learning items and are not searchable or visible within Learn Amp. The singular items (Video/E-learning) that make up the course are however accessible via Learn Amp. If a user completes a course in LinkedIn, completion activity of it’s the items that make it up will be recorded in Learn Amp.

User Email: The email address associated with the each users Learn Amp account must match the email address the email address associated with the users linked account. If the email does not match, the user will not be able to move from Learn Amp to LinkedIn Learning to complete content, not will completion data from LinkedIn Learning transfer in to Learn Amp.

LinkedIn Learning Licenses: Each user that wishes to access LinkedIn Learning content from Learn Amp must have a LinkedIn Learning license in order to access and digest content.

How the Platforms Connect

You will need to add Learn Amp as an application within LinkedIn Learning to connect the platforms via a REST API. You will need to provide Learn Amp with a Client ID and Secret to complete the connection.

In order to access content on the LinkedIn learning platform, a Learn Amp user will click a button which deep-links them to the corresponding course on Linked In.

Whether or not the user launches the course from within Learn Amp, their completion data will be synchronised for all courses that have been added to your Learn Amp account, on a 24 hour basis.
