Why did my video upload fail?

Why did my video upload fail?

Question: Why did my video upload fail?

Answer: There are various reasons why the upload of a file would fail. The most common are:

  • The file is corrupted

Try playing the file on your device from start to finish (you can use the 5x speed option) to see if at any point it crashes.

  • Wrong format or size.

Please check our guide on format and size here.

  • The connection is unstable

If the internet connection is weak, the page may time out, causing the upload to stop.

This can happen especially with larger files.

If you’re having an issue uploading a file, check your internet connection, and end or pause any activities on your network that might be consuming a lot of bandwidth (i.e. streaming videos, online games, other uploads or downloads, etc.).

  • The browser is timing out

Use a different web browser, such as Chrome or Firefox.

Disable any browser extensions or ad-blocking software.

Update your browser to the most recent version.

If you’re still experiencing an error, please raise it with us through our Customer Portal
