Answer: If you have assigned a task to a group or team with the setting ‘Current and new members’ but some users haven’t had the task assigned this is because some users may have the status ‘Not yet invited’, ‘Invite pending’, or ‘Invite scheduled’. Until these users show the status ‘Confirmed’ they won’t have the task assigned.
This will also explain why there may be a discrepancy between the number of tasks in the task log and team/group member numbers.
