Q&A: Why is my Task not showing in the Task log?
Task wasn’t assigned to the user or they are not in the Team/Group it was assigned to.
Go to user's profile > Tasks to verify that the user have been assigned the Task.
The user has already completed the assigned content:
If a user has already completed a piece of content, and they are tasked with it, they won't be required to complete it again (i.e. the system will skip over them), unless you select the option to send even if the user has already completed the task.
Make sure you're using the correct date range/filters.
Tasks only show on the Log within whatever timeline/filters are selected.
You've used 'show scheduled' on a Child Task.
The scheduled filter only works on Parent Tasks.
You can see scheduled Child Tasks when clicking the expand.
Task has expired.
Expired Tasks do not show in the Task log.
If you want to report on expired Tasks, you can do so via the Activity Log.
Make sure you're not excluding results by using the 'AND' filter instead of the 'OR' filter.
Check out our infographic on how to best use reporting tools.
You have filtered by 'Tasked for individual' for a 'Company-wide' Tasks.
In order for users with Tasks set via Team/Group/Company-wide tasks to show in the CSV report, use the filter: 'Tasked for' > 'Team/Group/Company'.
Task was deleted.
You can use the Activity Log to report on user's Task completion.
You can also raise a request with our Support Team to restore a Task within 3 months of deletion.
You're using the filter 'Completed at' for a parent task that has not been completed by all of the user's assigned within the selected date range.
