Central Reporting Page

Central Reporting Page

The Central Reporting Page consolidates all key reports and reporting tools into one place—making it quicker and easier to navigate your organisation's data. This streamlined layout is part of our wider effort to enhance both user experience and reporting functionality across the platform.

Overview

The Central Reporting Page is your gateway to all reporting and analytics tools in Learn Amp. Whether you're tracking learner progress, reviewing compliance, or building custom dashboards, everything starts here.

Why It Matters

  • Single access point – No more hunting through menus; all reports live in one place

  • Role-appropriate views – You'll only see tiles relevant to your permissions

  • Feature-aware display – Tiles appear based on your organisation's active features and package

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Why does my Reporting Page look different from a colleague's?
A: The tiles you see depend on your role and your organisation's enabled features. Different roles have access to different reports.

Q: Can I customise which tiles appear on the page?
A: Not currently. The tiles are auto-configured based on your account setup and feature access.

Q: I can't see the Reporting option in the sidebar—what should I do?
A: You may not have the necessary permissions, or your package might not include reporting. Contact your Account Admin or Customer Success Manager.

Q: What's the difference between Log tiles and Analytics tiles?
A: Log tiles show detailed records and lists (like activity logs and task lists). Analytics tiles provide aggregated insights, trends, and visualisations powered by our Advanced Analytics engine.

Q: Why can't I see the Analytics tiles?
A: Analytics tiles require Advanced Analytics to be enabled in your package. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more.

Q: Where can I view my saved reports?
A: Navigate to Reporting in the sidebar, then click the Saved Reports tile. From here you can view all your saved reports, share them, or set up email schedules.

Q: How do I view CSV exports of reports in one place?
A: Go to Reporting > CSV Exports. You'll see a list of all your exported CSV files, which you can download by clicking on the report name or using the three-dot menu.

Q: If I send a report via email to 'managers', does it only send to managers who have direct reports in the report filters specified?
A: No, the email will send to all managers regardless of what the filters are. The report recipient settings are separate from the filter criteria.

Q: Why have users stopped receiving scheduled reports?
A: If the scheduled job does not run, it doesn't move the recurrence forward, causing reports to get stuck in the past. To fix this, edit the report and set a future 'send at' date.

Q: What are the different reporting logs for?
A: Learn Amp has four main logs:

  • People Log – User-centric view; best for checking individual completion progress

  • Content Log – Content-centric view; best for checking completion rates on specific content

  • Task Log – Shows all assigned tasks; best for compliance tracking and deadline management

  • Activity Log – Shows all user actions; best for detailed activity tracking and engagement analysis

Q: What is a comparison report and how do I use it?
A: Comparison reports allow you to compare completion status across multiple users visually. Access them via Reporting > Comparison Reports. Select the users and content you want to compare, and the report will show a visual grid of who has completed what.

Q: Why are there inconsistencies between the Activity Dashboard and Profile Dashboard numbers?
A: Dashboard counts may differ due to several factors: different date range filters applied, dynamic content changes (content added/removed from Learnlists), or the timing of data refresh. If you see significant discrepancies that can't be explained by these factors, please contact Support.
