Hi there,

This is a quick overview of the new navigation.

  • The first thing you’ll notice is that we now have a side-navigation as well as a top navigation.

  • In the top navigation, you will find your profile. You can go to your profile to view your learning history.

  • You can also see our new Search bar in the top navigation. Here you can search for any learning material that interests you.

  • In the side navigation, you will find links to each of the main areas of the platform.

  • My Learning gives you a quick route to view your assigned tasks, as well as a way to browse learning content when you’re not sure what you are looking for.

  • My Development is houses your 1-to-1s, Objectives, CPD, Roles and Opportunities.

  • Community allows you to browse and join communities. Any communities that you have joined will appear in My Communities. And you can also view the employee directory.

  • My Team is a central point for managers to find data on their team.

  • Coaching gives coaches access to their coached users list and the Events tab.

  • Manage is designed for those users with higher permission that perform administrative tasks on the system like creating content or setting surveys.

  • Reporting is a central point for viewing reporting logs and finding insights in our learning data.

  • And once you get used to where things are, you have the option to collapse the side navigation so you have more room for viewing your learning content.

  • So that is the new navigation, we hope you love it!

title🙋‍♂️ How to raise feedback and suggestions.

Please try out your different use cases and let us know if you spot any bugs or have any suggestions for how to make it even better via our feedback form. We’ll be actively monitoring suggestions to inform any changes before closing the beta testing period.

titleCan we keep the old navigation?

No, in Q2-Q3 this year we will move all accounts over to the new navigation. Maintaining two navigations would significantly reduce our engineering capacity and therefore slow down the pace at which we can build new features and fix any bugs.

title🎨 How do I customise the new banners?

We heard in user interviews that the banner images at the top of the page takes up a lot of screen real estate and causes a lot of scrolling. For this reason, we have removed the large banners and replaced them with simpler and smaller gradient banners.

You can customise the colour of these banners in Company Settings → Colours.

titleI don't have any communities set up yet - will Community be displayed in the Navigation?

To enable the most impactful roll-out of communities, we have put this power in your hands. You will find a new Company Setting that enables you to decide when the Community navigation item goes live. This means you can set up your Communities in advance and then launch them all in one go as part of a wider campaign.
