Find out how to set up Microsoft ADFS SSO.

This article will explain the steps for setting up Microsoft ADFS SSO.

Unlike our other SSO integrations, it isn't as simple as going through the authentication process (e.g. for Google Sign-In or Slack).

Steps to set up:

1. Get in touch

Please get in touch by registering a support ticket.

2. Meeting

We will then set up a meeting between one of our developers and a person from your IT team.

This is because we'll need to enter the SSL fingerprint.

We'll need the following information:

  • ADFS issuer name: The URL of your Identity Provider (IdP). e.g. https://sso.examplecompany.com/adfs/services/trust
  • ADFS issuer: The IdP endpoint (URL) to which the authentication request should be sent. e.g. https://sso.examplecompany.com/adfs/ls
  • ADFS IDP Cert fingerprint: The SHA1 fingerprint of the IdP's signing certificate (e.g. "90:CC:16:F0:8D"). This is provided by the IdP when setting up the trust relationship.

3. Authentication process

You will then be able to sign in via the SSO and complete the authentication process.
