Planning for task remapping

Overview: When task remapping context is critical to help us to help you. It also ensures that both sides are fully aligned on what you want tasks to do.

How can we prepare for task remapping?

To help us to support you with task remapping it helps to understand the logic that you want for your tasks. This means defining which ‘Teams’ should receive which tasks.

We’ve created a template for you to fill in here:

What does each section mean?

  • Content: This is along the top. This is the compliance content you want to assign. This could be a Channel, Learnlist or Item

  • Teams: This is typically your functional teams e.g. sales, marketing. Some use the 'teams' structure to represent locations or similar instead. If you don't use teams and instead use groups, please list these here instead

  • Refresh rules: Assuming the compliance recurs, then this tells us when you want that to recur. If it doesn’t just put ‘Does not recur’

  • Grouping type: This is not needed to be filled in by you unless you wish. Typically we look at the teams you've suggested and recommend groups based on them or that you assign them to the whole company

  • Initial date: For new joiners or users without a completion, how many days should they have to complete

  • 'Not assigned': This represents which teams don't need to be assigned that content

What if we’ve changed the rules since we were first launched?

If possible it would be helpful to have a sheet which represents how the tasks were previously set up and how you want them to be set up. If the former isn’t possible - don’t worry we’ll work with what’s currently in the system.

What do I do once I’ve filled in the sheet?

If you are already in dialogue with Tech Support / Product / Customer Success to support your reimplementation return it to the appropriate person. Otherwise please register a ticket for reimplementation of tasks and we will reach out to you.
