Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: How can I check a user's status?
A: Navigate to People > Individuals and view the user's profile. The status is displayed on their profile page (Active, Invited, Deactivated, On Break, etc.).

Q: Is there a way to get a list of all users set to 'Taking a break' on the platform?
A: Yes. Use the People section and filter by user status to see users who are 'Taking a break'. You can also create a Group with a filter for this status.

Q: Can I filter users by their custom fields?
A: Yes. You can filter users by custom fields in the People section and in Groups using advanced filters. This allows you to segment users based on any custom data you've configured.

Q: How do I identify how a user was deactivated in Learn Amp?
A: Use the Audit Log (Reporting > Audit Log) to view user deactivation events. The audit log shows who deactivated the user and when.

Q: How long is user data stored after deletion?
A: Deleted user data is only stored for 30 days. After that, it's impossible to restore it.

Q: Who can see notes on a user's profile?
A: Notes on a user's profile are visible to Admins, Owners, HR, and the user's manager. Learners cannot see notes on their own profile.

Q: Why am I getting an Access Denied / 404 error when trying to view a user?
A: Access Denied or 404 errors typically occur when you don't have permission to view that user. Check that you have the appropriate role or that the user is within your management scope.
