What different settings do Groups offer
This article describes the difference between different options available when creating Groups.
This includes:
Active vs. Inactive
Filters: Is or Is not
Active vs. Inactive
Active
The Group will automatically refresh based on the criteria add and remove users.
Content, Tasks, and Assessments will be assigned to the new members of the group if specified in the settings.
The group’s member list might change daily, based on the criteria set
Inactive
The Group will no longer automatically refresh
Users will not be assigned any content based on that group
As opposed to deleting a group, it will be possible to activate it anytime
Filters: IS and IS NOT
While picking a group’s criteria, there is a number of filters available:
Some of them come in pairs, such as: Has and Has not completed or Is and Is not a manager.
These filters allow broader and more flexible criteria set up.
