Question: What to do when a new joiner has the same email as a deactivated user?

Answer: The easiest way is to create unique e-mail addresses.

E-mail address is a unique identifier on Learn Amp. This means, that it’s the one piece of data that determines if one user is different from another (like a reference number or NI).
While names, addresses, etc. can duplicate - e-mail address defines which user the system is looking at.
This means, that there cannot be two different users utilising the same e-mail address, as the system will perceive them as the same person.

Some of our customers are using a custom field as a unique identifier, especially, when such an identifier is given by the HR systems. Setting this up requires additional collaboration between our Developers and your IT department.
