What is the Content Log?
The Content Log is the most powerful tool for looking at what content different people have completed.
Â
How do I find the Content Log?
Step 1: Click 'Activity' in the top navigation bar.
Step 2: Select 'Content Log'.
Â
What are the features of the Content Log?
Click on ‘Batch actions’
Â
Add share
Share all of these selected individuals with someone.Â
Eg. If you want to share all of these individuals with a manager from a different team.
Â
Notification message
You will be able to send a notification message to these individuals.
Even if they have not received the invite into the system yet, you can still send them a message, and they will get the message when they have joined.
Â
Assign certificate
You can send a certificate of achievement to a group of people.
See an example below:
Â
Filtering the results by Item / Learnlist / Channel etc.
You can filter the content results by different types of content.
E.g. If you select 'Items' it will show all how many items have been assigned to the user, how many they have completed, how many are incomplete, etc.
E.g. The same goes for if you select 'Quizzes'. You will be able to see what % complete all of their Quizzes are, how many they have been assigned, etc.
Â
Â
Searching by a specific Item / Learnlist / Event / Channel etc.
You can search the content log even by a specific Item / Learnlist / Channel etc.
This is useful if you have a specific Task that you have set, and you want to see who has completed it or not.
Â
Step 1:Â Select what type it is (e.g. Item, Learnlist, etc.)
Â
Step 2: Search for the specific Item
Â
You will then be able to see to whom it has been assigned, and who has or hasn't completed it.
Â
Exporting CSV file
To export a CSV of the information you have selected, press Actions > Export CSV.Â
Â
You will then see this message:
Â
Then download the file:
Â
What does it mean to 'Refresh counts'?
Â
Underneath 'Actions', you will see a button called 'Refresh counts'.
Although we are constantly optimising to try to update the status of content, since there are so many different processes happening at any one time, sometimes manually updating content can give the most up to date version.Â
Â
What happens when you select 'Refresh counts':
Please wait while the system works to refresh counts.
Â
You will then see a confirmation that the data has been refreshed.
For a short period of time after this, you will not be able to refresh the data again (and so you will not see the button under 'Action').
Â
Looking at individual users within the Content Log
Â
1. If you want to see more detailed information about the content of one individual, then click on the section that you want to see.
Â
2. That column will then expand down in a cascading format, and you will be able to see what the content is, when they have completed it, etc.
Â
Expanding Channels and Learnlists:
Channels and Learnlists will expand even further, as the cascading expansion will show: The Channel / Learnlist assigned (seen in orange in the image below), and then the Items within that Learnlist and whether they have been completed or not (seen in yellow in the image below).
Â
Absolute Channels and Learnlists:
If the Channel or Learnlist in question is absolute, at a surface level the Channel / Learnlist will be shown as 100% complete.
But if the Channel / Learnlist is expanded down, the system will show if new content has been added to it which the user has not yet completed.
But these uncompleted Items will not be taken into account when calculating the percentage, because when a Channel / Learnlist is absolute, a person's score will remain at 100% even if new content is added to the Channel / Learnlist in question.Â

Advanced filters
Advanced filters are a useful way to isolate and search for specific data.
There are a vast amount of options by which you can filter down the information.
Here are some examples so that you can see how the filters could be used.
Â
Toggling between AND and OR:
To choose between AND and OR, please switch the toggle as highlighted in the images below.
Â
Example 1: I want to see which individuals from the Design team have completed their GDPR Training (a Learnlist).
This is how the search would look like:
Â
Example 2:Â I want to see which individuals have scored less than 50% on their Marketing Quiz.
Â
Example 3: I want to see which people have EITHER completed a Learnlist about marketing, OR have completed a Channel about marketing.
Â
Saving a report from an advanced filters search:
Step 1: Select 'Save report'.
Â
Step 2: Save the report under your chosen title.
