Survey Reporting

Survey Reporting

Overview

Beta Notice: Some features described in this article are currently in Beta, including:

  • Metrics tiles (Response Rate, Issued, Submitted)

  • Expanded Segment filter

  • Enhanced CSV export options

  • Strengthened anonymous survey protections

These features may change before full release.

Survey Reporting in Learn Amp gives you clear, actionable insight into how your surveys are performing. You can analyse feedback, track completion rates, explore trends, and export data for deeper analysis.

Functionality Breakdown

Key Metrics (Beta)

At the top of each survey report, you'll see performance tiles showing:

  • Response Rate – The percentage of issued surveys that have been completed

  • Issued – The number of surveys sent out

  • Submitted – The total number of completed responses

Note: Content surveys (embedded in Learnlists or Channels) do not use an "issued" count, so only Submitted is shown.

View Options

You can switch between two reporting views:

  • Answers View – Shows individual responses and aggregated data for each question.

  • Breakdown View – Displays visual charts for opinion scale and poll questions.

Filtering Capabilities (Beta)

You can refine results using:

  • Segment Filter – Filter by Company, Teams, Groups, or Managed Users.

  • Survey Occurrence – Focus on a specific cycle of a recurring survey.

  • Date Range – Filter by submission date (learning surveys) or deadline range (1-to-1 surveys).

Export Options (Beta)

You can export survey data using two CSV formats:

  • Download Survey Data – Aggregated question-level insights.

  • Download Individual Responses – Full submission-level detail, including user information (unless anonymous).

Issue

Solution

Solution

Can't see a survey report

Check your role permissions and confirm the survey has at least one submission.

Export button disabled

Anonymous surveys need 5+ matching responses.

No data showing

Your filters may be too narrow — try broadening them.

Only issued surveys show response rate. Content surveys don't.
