Quizzes

Overview

Quizzes in Learn Amp are assessments that help you check knowledge, reinforce learning, and measure understanding across your organisation. They can be used on their own or as part of wider learning journeys such as Learnlists and Channels.

Use Quizzes to:

  • Test understanding after key learning moments

  • Validate knowledge for compliance or certification

  • Gather insight into areas where learners may need more support

This article gives you a high-level view of how Quizzes work in Learn Amp. For step-by-step build instructions, see Creating a Quiz.

Functionality Breakdown

A Quiz in Learn Amp is made up of several core elements.

Where Quizzes Fit in Learn Amp

You can:

  • Add Quizzes to Learnlists and Channels as part of a curated journey

  • Assign Quizzes directly to individuals, Teams, or Groups

  • Track performance from the Reporting → Quizzes area in the sidebar navigation

  • Access advanced analytics via the Quiz Analytics Dashboard (where enabled)

Question Types

Quizzes support multiple question types so you can design the right kind of assessment:

  • True / False – Learners decide if a statement is correct

  • Multiple Choice – Learners choose one or more correct answers

  • Drag & Drop – Learners match, order, or categorise items

  • Yes / No – Simple binary choice

You can mix and match these within the same Quiz.

Rules and Completion

Each Quiz can have flexible rules, including:

  • Pass score – Minimum score needed to pass

  • Attempts – How many times a learner can try

  • Randomisation – Whether question order is shuffled

  • Timers – Optional time limit to complete the Quiz

  • Score calculation – Whether previous attempts are included in the final score

Quizzes can also optionally award a certificate or CPD points upon successful completion.
