Bulk Quiz Import
Overview

Migrating existing quizzes from another system
Standardising a set of quizzes created offline (e.g. spreadsheets)
Creating multiple quizzes at once with similar structure
By using the Quiz Import template, you can quickly structure your quiz content and upload it in one go, saving time and reducing manual data entry.

Q: Which question types are supported by Quiz Import?
A: Quiz Import currently supports three question types only: Multiple Choice, True / False, and Yes / No.
Q: Can I import Drag & Drop questions?
A: No. Drag & Drop questions are not supported by the bulk Quiz Import. You'll need to create these manually in the quiz editor.
Q: Can I use Quiz Import to create quiz question banks or quizzes that use question banks?
A: No. Quiz Import cannot be used to create quiz question banks or quizzes that leverage question banks. These must be set up directly in the UI.

Q: Who can use Quiz Import?
A: Quiz Import is intended for Admins or Owners with access to Company Settings. If you can't see this option, speak to your Learn Amp Admin, Customer Success Manager, or Support.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
My CSV won't upload or the import fails | Check that all required fields are populated for every row (Name, Description, Question number, Question, Question type, Responses, Correct answer, Feedback if correct, Feedback if incorrect). Remove any extra columns that aren't part of the template and try again. |
I get errors about question types | Confirm that Question type uses one of the supported values exactly: |
The correct answers don't seem to be saved correctly | Make sure the Correct answer value matches one of the entries in Responses exactly, including punctuation and spacing. Avoid trailing spaces and inconsistent capitalisation. |
Questions are appearing in the wrong order | Review the Question number column and ensure it uses the order you expect (e.g. 1, 2, 3…). If you reuse the same number twice, the question order may not behave as intended. |
I need to import unsupported question types or question banks | Quiz Import doesn't support Drag & Drop questions or question banks. Create these quizzes manually in the UI, or speak to Learn Amp Support to discuss options. |
I can't see the Quiz Import option in Company Settings | Confirm that you have the correct Admin or Owner permissions. If you still can't see it, contact your Customer Success Manager or Learn Amp Support for help. |
