My CPD

My CPD

Overview

My CPD is the learner's personal view of their Continuing Professional Development progress. This area shows learners their current CPD cycle, points earned, target, and activities that have contributed to their CPD.

Understanding the My CPD view helps learners track their professional development journey and stay on top of their learning goals.

Functionality Breakdown

The My CPD view provides learners with:

  • Progress overview – Visual representation of CPD completion percentage

  • Points earned – Total CPD points/hours accumulated in the current cycle

  • Target – The CPD target they need to achieve

  • Deadline – When the current CPD cycle ends

  • Activity breakdown – List of completed activities and their CPD values

  • Formal/Informal split – Separate progress for formal and informal learning (if enabled)

Pre-requisites

To access My CPD, learners must:

  • Be assigned to at least one CPD scheme

  • Have an active CPD cycle

  • CPD must be enabled for the organisation

Understanding Your Progress

Progress Bar:
The progress bar shows your completion percentage based on points earned vs target.

Key Metrics:

  • Earned: Total CPD points/hours you've accumulated

  • Target: The amount you need to achieve

  • Remaining: How much more you need to earn

  • Deadline: When your current cycle ends

Viewing Activity Breakdown

Scroll down to see all activities that have contributed to your CPD:

  • Activity name and type

  • Completion date

  • CPD points/hours earned

  • Formal or informal classification

Formal and Informal Progress

If your CPD scheme uses formal/informal split targets, you'll see separate progress for each:

  • Formal Progress: Points from structured, accredited learning

  • Informal Progress: Points from self-directed learning activities

  • Overall Progress: Combined progress towards your total target

💡 Tip: Focus on both formal and informal learning to meet your targets. Some schemes require minimum amounts of each type.
