What Objective options are there and how to use them?
Objective options can be used to configure preset values for Objectives, such as date range, units, and notifications to better fit the company's needs.
What Objective options are there
With these, you have an option to:
Decide what dates will be used for Objective deadlines
Manage custom units for your Key Results and Objective goals
Enable notifications and choose the frequency of reminders
You can access Objective options by clicking on your profile icon>Company Settings>Objectives
Â
Preset dates
In the Company Settings>Branding>Objectives>Preset dates, you can create custom values for preset dates, that later can be used in specifying Objective’s deadlines.
Â
To create custom values, tick Adjust presets, write the name of the preset in Labels then pick Start and End date. You can also Add preset date by clicking the option below existing presets.
If you select Use default dates, your options will default to standard 4 quarters (January to December current year).
These values will be available when creating an Objective and deciding on its deadlines.
Key result identifier
This setting is only used if the key result values are imported automatically from an external system.
Enabling this option allows the system’s recognition by introducing a key identifier.
Custom units
In the Company Settings>Branding>Objectives>Custom units, you can manage units used when setting up Objectives and Key results.
Within this tab, you have an option to add custom unit or delete existing ones.
Email reminders
In the Company Settings>Branding>Objectives>Email reminders, you can Enable reminders to update objectives and key results. When this option is ticked, users will receive a notification to remind them about updating their Objectives both via an in-app and e-mail notification.
You can decide on whether these reminders should be sent Weekly, Monthly, or every 2 or 6 weeks.
