Q&A: I keep receiving the same escalation policy notification every so often even though there are no new incidents - Am I meant to receive an escalation policy notification more than once?
The team are actively working to change this and release a way for the system to un-trigger the policy for missed deadline rulesets. The new expected behaviour should be:
Policy is triggered when user misses X task deadlines
Send notification only once
Policy is still triggered but no notifications are sent.
Add notice to escalation policy page to say ‘NB: notifications for this escalation policy will be sent only once’
