FAQs
Q: Can we change the platform URL?
Learn Amp offers fully branded subdomains of your choice, such as yourcompany.learnamp.com or leadershipprogram.learnamp.com. While we don't set up unique non-Learn Amp URLs, we can help you redirect a custom domain to your Learn Amp subdomain. Subdomains can be changed quickly and easily at any time.
Q: How can I set the company name in the banner?
Navigate to Settings → Branding → Details. Enter your company name and tick the box 'Show company name and description in hero section', then save.
Q: How do I update the logo on notification emails?
Go to Settings → Branding → Email design, then choose 'Choose image' to upload your logo. Click Save and the change will apply to all emails sent from the platform.
Q: Can I change the background colour on non-content pages?
Yes—this beta feature allows you to customise backgrounds on non-content pages while maintaining white backgrounds on content pages for accessibility. Find this in Settings → Branding → Colours. Choose a background colour for each branding preset. We recommend light colours as some text appears directly on the background.
Q: What's the difference between navigation logo and square logo?
The navigation logo appears in the top corner of the platform and should be wider/rectangular. The square logo appears on content tiles created by your company and in the account switcher—it should be square-shaped.
Q: Can different teams see different branding?
Yes, if team-specific branding is enabled. You can create multiple branding presets and assign them to different primary teams. Users will see the branding assigned to their primary team.
Q: What image formats and sizes should I use?
Navigation logo: PNG or SVG, 669 x 162 pixels, transparent background
Square logo: JPG or PNG, minimum 82 x 82 pixels (square)
Banners: JPG or PNG, 1300 x 298 pixels
Email header: JPG or PNG, minimum 30 x 30 pixels, transparent background
Login page background: JPG or PNG, high resolution recommended
Q: How do I customise the login page?
Navigate to Settings → Branding → Login page to upload a background image and set gradient colours for your login screen.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
Logo appears blurry or stretched | Ensure your image matches the recommended dimensions and format. Non-square images for the square logo will distort. |
Branding changes not appearing | Clear your browser cache or try an incognito window. Changes may take a few minutes to propagate. |
Team members seeing wrong branding | Check the user's primary team assignment and verify the correct preset is assigned to that team. |
Banner looks different on various screens | Banners display differently based on screen width. Test on multiple devices when cropping. |
Email logo not updating | Ensure the image is uploaded in Email Design (not just the navigation logo). Allow time for email clients to refresh cached images. |
Team branding option not visible | This feature must be enabled for your account. Contact your Customer Success Manager. |
Accessibility warning on colours | Use the built-in accessibility checker to ensure colour contrast meets WCAG guidelines (A, AA, or AAA standards). |
Login page background not displaying | Ensure the image is in JPG or PNG format and has been saved. Try clearing your browser cache. |
