What Dashboard options are there and how to use them?

This article describes Dashboard options available in the Company Settings.

What Dashboard options are there?

Dashboard options:

  • allow an overview of all Dashboards created on the platform

  • allow adding a new Dashboard

  • allow changing visibility, editing and deleting existing Dashboards

You can access Dashboard options by clicking on your profile icon>Company Settings>Dashboard

 

How do I configure Dashboard options?

In the Company Settings>Dashboard>Manage you have an option to view all the Dashboards created within the Platform. You can search them by Name, Updated at, and Added by.

You then have an option to:

  • Edit visibility: decide which system roles will be able to view the Dashboard on their home page.

  • Delete existing Dashboards: Please note, that once a Dashboard is deleted, it cannot be restored. You can make dashboards invisible by changing their visibility.

  • Add Dashboard: this option will redirect you to the Dashboard creator

In the Company Settings>Dashboard>Options, you have an option to allow Managers to create their own Dashboards (if unticked, only Admins will be able to create Dashboards).
