💡 Tip: Ticking "Do not send the user a new task notification email" only stops the initial assignment notification—reminder emails will still be sent unless disabled separately.


Pre-requisites

All users with an active Learn Amp account automatically receive email notifications for events relevant to their role. You do not need to do anything extra to get started.

To adjust which email notifications you receive, log in to your Learn Amp account and head to your notification preferences.

Checking Your Notification Preferences

  1. Click your profile avatar in the sidebar

  2. Select Profile & Preferences

  3. Navigate to the Notifications tab

  4. Review which notifications are enabled or disabled

  5. Toggle settings as needed—changes save automatically

Understanding Which Notifications You'll Receive

Your notifications depend on three factors:

  1. Company settings – Some notifications may be mandatory

  2. Your personal preferences – Toggle categories on/off in your profile

  3. Your account status – You must have 'Confirmed' status to receive notifications


FAQs

Q: Can users opt out of certain notifications?
Yes. Users can manage their preferences via Profile & Preferences → Notifications. However, company-enabled critical notifications may override personal preferences.

Q: How do I stop all notifications for a specific task?
Use the "Do not notify" option in Advanced Task Settings for the initial notification, and ensure reminder settings are also disabled.

Q: Why aren't notification emails arriving?
Check the user's account status (must be 'Confirmed'), verify email address, check spam folders, and ensure SPF records are configured for your domain.

Q: Can I receive notifications in Microsoft Teams instead of email?
If your organisation has Microsoft Teams integration enabled and you're linked via Microsoft Entra ID, you'll automatically receive in-app notifications in Teams alongside email notifications.
