What are Reviews and how to use them?
What are Reviews
Reviews is a feature, that allows users to create a community and engage users by allowing them to rate content (1-5 stars) and leave a comment.
With Reviews, you can:
allow users to rate content after completing it
allow users to post public comments, visible under the content
filter comments by rating
You can access Reviews by opening the Channel, Learnlist, or Item and scrolling to the bottom of the page:
How do I create a Review?
Firstly, in the Company Settings> Content> Discussion and Q&A, you have an option to either make the comments posted visible for all users or to give them an option to filter by Teams.
To enable Reviews, edit content (Channel, Learnlist, or Item) and find the appropriate section:
If Prompt users to rate option is ticked, after content is marked as completed, an additional window pops up giving the user an option to rate the content and write a comment.
If the option is not enabled, the user will not receive this information, but will still be able to leave a review at the bottom of the content page:
Once changes are saved, a Review box section will appear under content.
Users will then have an option to review content and search through existing comments.
Users are only allowed one review per content piece.
They can edit the review, but they cannot delete it.
To delete a review, please contact our Technical Support
The ratings will appear in a separate box under the content.
How can I view Reviews?
You can view Reviews posted by specific users by going to their user profile>Posts>Reviews.
In Content>Manage you can sort the view list of Items, Learnlists, and Channels by av. rating to see the average rates and the number of reviews left.
