Q&A: How do I auto-assign skills to users?

Most organisations want to auto-assign skills to a user based on what is relevant for their role in the organisation.

To set up this workflow:

  • Sync your HRIS to update the Job Title field in Learn Amp

  • Set up Roles and associated Skills in Learn Amp (Company Settings -> Learning Taxonomy -> Roles) - the Role names must be an exact match to the relevant field in your HRIS

  • Go to Company Settings -> People and enable the setting to use Job Title to control users' Roles.

When a user's Job Title is updated via the HRIS integration, we will now update their Role in Learn Amp.
