Skill rating reminders are a helpful way to prompt regular skill reflection and feedback across your organisation. Whether you're encouraging learners to self-assess or supporting managers in tracking team development, this feature helps keep skill data fresh and actionable.

What does the feature do?
Sends automated email reminders to:
π€ Learners β to rate their own skills
π¨βπΌ Managers β to rate the skills of their direct reports
Allows admins to:
Choose start dates for each type of reminder
Set recurring cycles (e.g. monthly, quarterly)
Manage both learner and manager reminder types independently

Once skills are enabled for your company:
Go to Settings
Navigate to Company Settings β Learning Taxonomy β Skills Rating Reminders
Choose Reminder Types
Toggle on:

π¨βπΌ Manager reminders
Set Start Dates π
Choose when each reminder type should begin
Set Frequency π
Choose how often reminders should go out
Common cycles: monthly or quarterly
Save Settings πΎ
Notifications will automatically trigger when the date and cycle rules are met

Q: Who receives manager reminders?
Managers of direct reports (based on team setup and permissions) will receive reminders. This includes primary, override, and stand-in managers.
Q: Can I customise the content of the reminder emails?
Currently, the email content is standardised, but it includes a link that directs users to their Learn Amp skill rating page.
Q: What happens if a user has no skills assigned?
They won't receive a reminder. Reminders are only sent when users have skills in their profile that require rating.
Q: Can learners and managers have different reminder cycles?
Yes! You can configure separate start dates and frequencies for each role (learners & managers).
Q: Do reminders stop after one cycle?
No β once set, reminders continue based on the chosen cycle (e.g. every 3 months) until disabled or reconfigured.
Q: What if our company doesnβt see this option?
Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to enable the skills feature for your account.
Q: What if we want to test this feature before rolling it out company-wide?
