Creating and Managing Dashboards
Overview
This guide walks you through the process of creating, editing, and managing Dashboards in Learn Amp. Dashboards are flexible, widget-based boards that combine reports and action-driving content into a personalised experience for your users.
Pre-requisites
To create and manage Dashboards, you need administrative access to your Learn Amp account.

Quick Start Guide
Creating a New Dashboard
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar
Select Dashboards
Click Create Dashboard
Enter a name for your Dashboard
(Optional) Select a template to start with pre-configured widgets
Configure the audience type and visibility settings
Click Create
You'll be taken to the Dashboard editor where you can add and arrange widgets.
Editing an Existing Dashboard
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar, then select Dashboards
Find the Dashboard you want to edit
Click the three dots menu (⋮) and select Edit Dashboard
Make your changes to settings, visibility, or configuration
Save your changes
To edit widgets on a Dashboard:
Navigate to the Dashboard itself
Click Add Widget to add new widgets
Click the menu on any widget to edit, move, or remove it
Duplicating a Dashboard
Duplicating saves time when creating similar Dashboards:
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar, then select Dashboards
Find the Dashboard you want to duplicate
Click the three dots menu (⋮) and select Duplicate
The duplicated Dashboard will be created with "(Copy)" appended to the name
Edit the duplicate to customise it
💡 Tip: Duplicating is useful when creating role-specific Dashboards that share similar widget configurations.
Deleting a Dashboard
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar, then select Dashboards
Find the Dashboard you want to delete
Click the three dots menu (⋮) and select Delete
Confirm the deletion
⚠️ Warning: Deleting a Dashboard is permanent and cannot be undone. Users who had this Dashboard as their default will automatically see the next available Dashboard.
Dashboard Settings
When creating or editing a Dashboard, you can configure:

Managing Multiple Dashboards
Viewing All Dashboards
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar
Select Dashboards
Use the search and filter options to find specific Dashboards
Sort by name, date modified, or other criteria
Batch Operations
You can perform batch operations on multiple Dashboards:
Select multiple Dashboards using the checkboxes
Choose a batch action (e.g., update visibility)
Apply the changes

FAQs
Q: How many Dashboards can I create?
There's no limit to the number of Dashboards you can create.
Q: Can I restore a deleted Dashboard?
No. Deleted Dashboards cannot be restored. Consider duplicating important Dashboards as a backup.
Q: What happens to users when I delete their default Dashboard?
They'll automatically see the next available Dashboard based on the priority hierarchy.
Q: Can I move widgets between Dashboards?
Not directly. You'll need to recreate widgets on the target Dashboard, or duplicate the entire Dashboard and remove unwanted widgets.
